FYI, I know I am a few days off schedule. It's my blog so I can do what I want. LOL.
Alright let's get down to business. Pretty much any of the feelings/moods above can be satisfied with some Gwen Stefani/No Doubt. They have upbeat songs, mellow songs, sad songs... I am a huge Gwen fan, so any of the songs will do, I love to rock out to her voice.
Lately I have been listening to Fergie's The Dutchess. I guess that would fall under happy and hyped. There are some mellower songs on that cd, but I usually skip those.
Back in the day I would turn to Dashboard Confessional for my sad/mad music.
I know I am just listing artists rather than songs, but that is because their body of work encompasses the feelings/moods in the prompt. I don't listen to just one song, I listen to cd's so it made more sense for me to list the artists.
So my doc told me I need to find something tht is like an escape for me something like a mini vacation.. Something tht calms and brings me back to reality... Ive been having pretty bad anxiety attacks lately and so this is why the doc told me this... She try to find something you love like warm tea, bath, music or anything tht calms you.. And I love music as you know its my escape but I have one song tht is my "safety song" tht I can hear over and over on repeat and never get tired of it and this song helps me thru those attacks as crazy as it sounds or as crazy as I am making myself sound it works.. This song takes me to a happy place, a safe place and it comforts me it reminds no matter how lonely I feel I am really not.. it takes me to moments Ive heard tht song and the feelings I had at those moments and this song can make everything right in the world again... Im sure at this point you wanna know the song... Dramarama, Anything Anything... Nuff said...
